Co-registration (Co-reg) is often what is thought of first when considering lead generation.  Offers on the internet ask consumers to ‘opt-in’ to receive further marketing communication from them or partners.

Co-reg provides a way for a brand to utilise other websites’ traffic without relying only on consumers just visiting their own site.  Many sites on the internet will host other companies’ offers and collect data on their behalf.

In the UK there are many different options.  The most common is a prize draw or survey site which offers consumers an incentive to register their details; once registered they are shown various offers from different brands.  These will either ask simple ‘yes/no’ questions or present a more complete survey which, in turn will aid targeting and enables a brand to develop a better understanding of its potential customers.

Each site will have a finite, or ‘capped’, volume of leads it can supply.  This ‘cap’ will be determined by the number of new registrations and returning visits each site achieves. DMLS is able to increase the volume of leads supplied via the Publisher co-reg network (link to the publisher network page) it runs which comprises a collection of sites that also host co-reg offers.   We issue each site with its own unique sub ID so we can track every lead that we supply.
